From Mr. DeVries, April 13:
“Today, I ate:
Breakfast- Eggs, Spam-ish meat, fried potatos.
Lunch- mushrooms/beef casserole, seaweed and a single fried silkworm that made me gag.
Dinner- western roast beef.
From Mr. DeVries, April 14:
Today we had a semi-western breakfast and toured a grotto/shrine to buddha, the tomb of the general who unified korea in 500 bc, and the site of the tournament, and then had dinner/reception at the hotel.
The coolest thing is that the Cherry blossom trees are blooming, and the hillsides are snowy white and it is 60-65 degrees out here. |
